Precipitated Calcium Carbonate Properties

Precipitated calcium carbonate is obtained by the method of chemical processing. Because of its sedimentation volume (2.4-2.8mL / g) than the mechanically produced calcium carbonate sedimentation volume (1.1-1.9mL / g) large, it is also known as light calcium carbonate.
